Chris T., Chris G., and Monica are three of the more than 250 children currently living in foster care with no adoptive family identified.
Chris T. Chris is a friendly and likeable 12 year old boy who loves basketball and has a great football arm. Beyond his love of sports, he also enjoys music and plays the piano where he is a quick learner with an incredible memory. Chris also enjoys movies, television and video games and is a fan of board games and puzzles. Chris is legally free for adoption and would do best in a home with clear boundaries and firm, fair, consistent treatment. He has suffered many past disappointments and has some tough behavioral needs, so Chris needs a structured and active family with patience, understanding and dedication.
Chris G. Chris is 13 years old and in the sixth grade. He enjoys school and hanging out with his friends. He loves the outdoors, camping, pets and going to the zoo. He builds legos, plays video games and would like to write and perform a puppet show. Chris is legally free for adoption and is anxiously awaiting a forever family who is passionate and committed to understanding his unique needs and behavioral struggles. He needs some help with daily living needs and reminders due to his memory loss. A stay at home parent who can provide lots of supervision would be ideal.
Monica Ten year old Monica will steal your heart with her energetic and imaginative personality. Her favorite hobby is going to Disneyland, and she “loves” all of the Disney characters She enjoys playing “dress-up,” coloring, watching cartoons and Disney movies, working on art projects, She also loves animals and especially enjoys the zoo. Monica is legally free for adoption and needs a loving, patient, active and adventurous family to call her own. Monica would do best in a two-parent home, with at least one stay at home parent who can help her work through her frustrating times, make good choices and identify and understand her feelings. She would thrive in a structured setting.
