Gail Petersen Cooks with Kids

Volunteer Gail Petersen visits Golden Gate Community Center every week and brings in craft projects, sewing projects, cooking projects or whatever she is working on at the time. The kids love the cooking projects and this Valentine's Day, worked with Gail to decorate cupcakes.  "Gail is by far the best volunteer I have ever worked with.  She has taken the time to really get to know the kids and their individual needs and personalities.  And then she gives of herself, her time and her many talents and has formed relationships with them," said Phyllis Habib, director of Golden Gate Community Center.  "Both the kids and the staff look forward to the days that Gail is here.  We love her."
