Brinks Inc. headed to Tucson Main Office to paint gymnasium

Trust, integrity, respect, quality, innovation, and safety are the core values of  Brink's Inc.  They are also the values that motivated the company to seek out a community service project at Arizona's Children Association in conjunction with their upcoming national sales and operations meeting in Tucson.  On Thursday, April 8, 150 to 160 Brink's employees from across the country will descend on the AzCA Tucson location to paint the outside of our 10,500 square foot gymnasium.  The effort is being led by Tracey Taylor, regional controller for the southwest region for Brink's.  Tracey's region was selected to coordinate the community service project for this meeting.  "We chose Arizona's Children Association because we wanted the focus of our work to be for children," said Tracey. "We have worked with AzCA before and really enjoyed it."

The volunteers will be divided into ten, 16 person teams. Two teams will be assigned to each side of the building and two teams to the roof.  The company is partnering with several vendors to provide all of the paint and supplies, as well as renting two scissor jacks for the painters on the roof.  "Our company believes in giving back to the communities where we operate," said Tracey.  "We participate in community service events for every annual meeting we hold."
