Congratulations to Dee Ann Barber and Su Voz Vale

Congratulations to Dee Ann Barber, senior vice president and chief operating officer for Arizona's Children Association, who was recently awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by the National Association of Social Workers, Arizona Chapter, Branch 2.  Dee Ann has more than 35 years experience in clinical social work and policy and program development.  Her reputation and expertise as a child welfare and children's behavioral health advocate enhances our agency's visibility on a statewide and national level.

The program staff of Su Voz Vale, was awarded the Cesar Chavez Humanitarian award at the same NASW awards event. Su Voz Vale "Your Voice Counts" is a community action program on the south side of Tucson dedicated to reducing the incidence and trauma associated with sexual violence for the Latino/Chicano population.  Su Voz Vale is a program of the Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault.
