FREE Early Brain Development Classes
New Directions Institute, in partnership with hospitals, community centers and libraries in the east valley is offering a wide range of early brain development classes for parents and caregivers of children age's birth through five.
Wired for Success is a four-hour presentation packed with valuable information for parents and caregivers of newborns and infants about early infant brain development and how to maximize opportunities for healthy development and future learning.

"Brain Time," is conducted by age group for children ages 0-5. It includes three, free, one-hour sessions that allow parents and caregivers to learn about the latest baby brain development research and techniques, and practice what they are learning by interacting with their child in a guided setting. Brain Time is similar to traditional Story Time, except that each parent practices with their child in a play setting using Brain Box™ toys and books.

Kinder Prep interactive parent/child workshop series is for parents or caregivers with their children ages three to five years old. The free workshop includes three, one-hour sessions, with activities that use common materials found in many homes to illustrate and practice fun learning experiences. Each fun interaction is linked to how that activity strengthens brain connections.
