Arizona’s Children Association is committed to improving money management among individuals and families through our Financial Stability education program. Financial education is a critical subject for those in our communities to ensure their well-being and the success of their families. More and more families are requesting financial literacy related information to help them through difficult economic times.
The Financial Stability Partnership is a program that connects communities across the state with banking institutions and support to help individuals move toward the goal of financial stability, armed with knowledge, clear direction, and confidence.
The Financial Stability program incorporates several workshops focusing on the following topics: banking, budgets, choosing and using credit, saving for college, home ownership, motivation, and taking charge of credit. Our goal is to assist families to learn the financial basics, discerning between “wants and needs” and to impart the importance of basic banking skills, money management, and savings.
It is the belief of Arizona’s Children Association that if we can teach individuals and families how to stabilize personal finances, a primary stressor in most families, then other aspects of family life become more stable.
