Activities include spring training baseball games, bowling, roller skating, seasonal activities, Lifebook scrapbooking and pizza parties.
Bi-Annual Celebrations: Each May and December we celebrate the hard work and dedication of our foster and adoptive families with a special celebration that includes food, activities, photographs, family recognition, gifts and a day of good times.
In Rhythm Training: In Rhythm is a training program that connects children and families from diverse cultures and ethnic backgrounds to their cultures and communities by providing support and nurturing toward emotional well-being.
In addition to advance training credit and in-home supports, “In Rhythm” offers quarterly workshops with topics including:
- Health, Fitness, Hair and Skin Care designed to address physical health and grooming for children of color.
- Traditions, Customs and Special Celebrations to educate families how to recognize and teach children about their cultural traditions, customs and special celebrations.
- Embracing a bi-racial heritage to teach parents and children how to embrace their child’s personal diversity.
