Outpatient Behavioral Health – Statewide

Arizona’s Children Association provides a wide continuum of behavioral health services in coordination with local Regional Behavioral Health Authorities across the state.   Services utilize the Child and Family Team (CFT) process, and incorporate the principles from the Arizona Vision.

Outpatient Services include, but are not limited to:

  • Counseling
  • Respite
  • Peer Support Groups
  • Family Facilitation
  • Therapeutic Recreational programs

 

Services are available for children and some adults who are Title XIX and AHCCCS eligible.   Services vary by region and contract with local Behavioral Health Authorities.  Contact our regional directors for more information.

In-Home Services

Arizona’s Children Association also provides intensive and moderate in-home family counseling to prevent removal of children from a family setting or to provide family reunification once children have been removed.  Services are generally short-term and include in-home visits by therapists or family support specialists three times a week.

Services include, but are not limited to:

  • Child welfare
  • Behavioral and mental health
  • Parenting skills training
  • Personal and independent living skills training
  • Comprehensive health education
  • Crisis intervention
  • Adolescent development issues
  • Comprehensive in-home training
  • Alcohol and substance abuse
  • Early developmental screenings
  • Emergency assistance programs
  • Advocacy and referral services

Referrals to in-home services come from the Arizona Department of Economic Security/Child Protective Services or the Juvenile Court.
