Nuestra Familia is a home-based family support and preservation program serving the children and families of Maricopa County. The mission of Nuestra Familia is “To strengthen and stabilize families through a variety of family centered services which are comprehensive, coordinated, community based, accessible and culturally appropriate. The only requirement to be apart of Nuestra Familia is the need of your family, regardless of income or opportunity.

The two main goals of Nuestra Familia are Family Support and Family Preservation. Family Support focuses on creating a safe and nurturing home for all family members enhancing child development. Family preservation seeks to avoid unnecessary out-of-home placement, and returning displaced children to their homes as quickly as possible.

Nuestra Familia also provides a number of services to support their goals. Those services include Behavioral and Mental Health Services, Parenting and Independent Living Skills Training, Comprehensive Health Education and Advocacy and Referral Services.
