Permanency
programs are the initiatives within the organization
devoted to ensuring children have safe, healthy and permanent
homes. Most people think of foster care and adoption
when they think of these types of programs, but permanency
initiatives can also include therapy, education and counseling
programs with the focus on keeping biological families
together or bringing them back together after a child's
out-of-home placement.
The Adoption
and Foster Care programs offered by
Arizona’s Children Association, offered in
most areas of the state, are vital resources for
matching children in need with safe and loving
families. Last year, many of our children made
the long-term family connections they needed to
help them grow up safe, healthy and secure.
