Dear AzCA Family,
We appreciate the trust you place in us and want to inform you of our latest developments in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19).
Our executive leaders have been strategically preparing to implement new approaches and opportunities for expanding our reach in the community. We have successfully rolled out several alternative contact options, including the addition of telehealth care and virtual visitation.
There are a number of benefits to telehealth and virtual visitation services. This includes the practice of social distancing to reduce the spread; limiting physical contact between staff and clients; minimizing the risk of spread in high-volume areas; decreasing exposure for those who are considered most vulnerable; and restricting activities/behaviors that could increase the risk of exposure, such as the use of public transportation to attend appointments.
In addition to virtual services, our doors will remain open to continue to provide critical behavioral health and child welfare services for those who are unable to participate virtually, as well as for some programs that may still require face-to-face appointments.
Please know that our office is following all recommended guidance from public health authorities, including best practices for infection control, hygiene and team health. We feel confident in our ability to continue seeing patients and providing the quality care you have come to expect and deserve.
We will continue to utilize methods for screening for COVID-19 symptoms prior to arrival, restricting access to our lobbies and waiting areas, and shifting appointments to virtual as needed and allowed.
If you have any questions about this notification or your upcoming appointment, please call your local office or contact your AzCA staff member for detailed instructions.
Thank you again for your ongoing confidence and loyalty as we work together to fight this virus.
Wishing you and yours the very best,
Jacob Schmitt, President & CEO
