Paul Boyer is a 10th grade Humane Letters teacher at Veritas Preparatory Academy, and a Member of the Arizona legislature representing Glendale and North Phoenix. He is the chairman of the House Education Committee and has earned both of his degrees from ASU West. The bill he is most proud of is funding to hire more investigators to combat Internet Crimes Against Children. He and Beth got married on “Pi Day” in 2015 so they are still newlyweds and have a hyperactive, lovable, co-dependent rescue dog – Sydni, a nine-year-old Cairn Terrier.
Hi! I’m Elizabeth Boyer, and I am so very happy to join others in this event benefiting Arizona’s Children Association! My husband Paul was originally going to be the only one dancing, but then he asked me to be a part of the night and dance with him. How could I say no? I currently work as a pediatric nurse at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center, so anything remotely involving caring for kids and families in need grabs my attention (even though I may be a little nervous about dancing in front of everyone…)! I’ve certainly enjoyed getting to see a glimpse into the heart of this organization from their website; the resources are endless in finding forever homes for kids and it’s comforting to know that it is a safe place for hurting children and families. I’m proud to be a small part in bringing awareness to AzCA!
