Doug Major

Tulsa Oklahoma native Doug Major has always been surrounded by kids. He is the 4th of seven children, 5 brothers and one sister.

Doug lived in Colorado for almost 16 years before moving to Phoenix nearly two years ago. He moved to Phoenix to work for furniture giant, American Furniture Warehouse, a job he has loved for more than 12 years. In fact, Doug first heard about the amazing and much needed services provided by Arizona’s Children Association this year when the two organizations collaborated with ABC15 in February to raise funds for Arizona’s Children Association’s “Just For Me Bags,” which include essential items and provide comfort to children who have just come into foster care. Doug was so impressed with the staff, the foster families he met and the children associated with the group that he decided he wanted to do more for the agency by “Dancing for Arizona’s Children.”
