Klay describes himself as a happy, funny, and intelligent person who enjoys many different hobbies – including basketball and football. Klay’s favorite teams are the Dallas Cowboys and Golden State Warriors. He has never been to an NBA or NFL game, but it is on his bucket list. Aside from sports, Klay likes to sing and play the viola which he has been playing since 6th grade. When it comes to music preferences, Klay prefers “the oldies”. His favorite bands include Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, the Eagles, and the Beatles. Klay describes himself as artistic and enjoys coloring.
Klay takes pride in the coping skills he has developed – which include listening to music, playing cards, and reading. Klay’s foster mom enjoys his upbeat personality and great sense of humor. Klay can be competitive, but is a great sport and doesn’t get upset when he loses. One of Klay’s favorite book series is Harry Potter. When it comes to television, his favorite shows include Rick & Morty, Futurama, Family Guy, Bob’s Burgers, Seinfeld, and Rugrats. His favorite movies are The Nightmare Before Christmas and the Harry Potter movies.
Klay has big goals for his future and would like to attend college at the University of Arizona or UCLA and pursue a sports broadcasting career. Klay’s favorite subject in school is history. If he could travel anywhere in the world, he would go to London because of his interest in British culture.
For Klay, the most important qualities in an adoptive family are unconditional love and acceptance. Klay envisions watching sports and partaking in fun team rivalry with his future adoptive parent(s). Klay would like a sibling around the same age as him, and prefers a brother but would still be accepting of a sister.
