Never Too Young to Inspire – A Gift That Gives Back

For Kayden and Ronin Fischer, birthday gifts are for sharing.

With a Lord of the Rings themed birthday party over Easter weekend, Ronin celebrated his 8th birthday with family and friends. He asked his guests to bring art supplies so he could donate them to Arizona’s Children Association (AzCA). These art supplies will be shared with AzCA’s children and families across Northern Arizona. This was Ronin’s first year donating on his birthday, he plans to do so every year!

An 8-year-old donating his birthday gifts, where could he have gotten the idea? Well, his older brother, Kayden, did the same thing in January when he had a diaper drive and donated those to AzCA for his 11th birthday. Kayden first did this two years ago when he turned 9 and asked for backpacks to donate with a bunch of supplies in them. His friend had donated some gifts to an animal shelter, and Kayden liked the idea and chose to give to AzCA. Kayden has decided to do a drive every other year, so we will see him on his 13th birthday!

“I decided to put myself in their shoes and tried to think what they would think and decided what I did was pretty important and I wanna keep doing that,” said Kayden on why he chooses to donate his gifts.

Their middle brother, Everett, age 9, hasn’t donated but has definitely been there to support his brothers along with Mom and Dad, who are a very special family.

Look out for a very charitable firefighter, a veterinarian, and a drummer in the future, as it’s each of their dreams right now! It’s truly remarkable to see a 5th grader and a 2nd grader give back to the community in an awesome way like this.

AzCA truly appreciates the donation from both brothers and is grateful for their generosity. The Fischer family is an amazing family, and Arizona’s Children Association is proud to have the opportunity to work with them, and are looking forward to working with them again in the future.
