At Arizona’s Children Association (AzCA), we stand together in opposition to racism, hatred, and discrimination. We value the diversity of our staff, children, youth and families across the state, and remain committed to promoting inclusion and support of our friends and families in the LGBTQ community.
Here at AzCA, we believe that all children deserve every opportunity to have a safe and loving, forever home and we are proud to be one of the premier foster and adoption agencies in Arizona. As part of our commitment to Arizona’s children who are in need of foster care or are looking for their forever home, we will not rule out any qualified potential parents or caregivers through discriminatory or prejudicial practices.
We welcome traditional and non-traditional, single or two-parent families regardless of race, religion, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, national origin or disability to open their hearts and homes to children in need.
We provide training and support to our foster and adoptive families who have undergone rigorous review to open their homes and families to vulnerable children whose biological/originating families are on the mend. We work to ensure that all our foster and adoptive families are in alignment with our agency’s mission of “Protecting Children, Empowering Youth, and Strengthening Families.” Our highly committed and caring families exemplify some of Arizona’s best and families are selected based upon the individualized needs of the child, and the strengths and abilities of the family to meet those child’s needs.
AzCA is focused on working with the community and other partners to create an environment where all families and individuals, regardless of sexual orientation or gender, are provided an equal opportunity to build a loving family for amazing children.
